Cardiophonics is one of the only medical device manufacturer who also provide clinical services to health care providers. We have developed and design sophisticated cardiac event monitoring and receiving systems since 1990 that can detect and document patient cardiac arrhythmias while clients go about their daily activities.

When symptoms occur, patients use our devices to perform EKG recordings, pulse oximetry, pacemaker evaluations and transmit the data to Cardiophonics patient monitoring centers, which operate around-the-clock (24/7/365). Data may also be sent directly to their physician via our AtHome computer technology.

At the center, the data is reviewed by our registered nurses and PAs certified in cardiac and critical care medicine. The patient is assigned to work with a RN case manager to determine proper monitoring techniques and to provide so thorough diagnostic report. If predetermined criteria are met, patients are referred to appropriate medical personnel for treatment or emergencies

30-Day Cardiac Event Monitoring
Patients are monitored for up to 30 days. Each patient is provided with a Cardiophonics (PMA) cardiac monitor, which is utilized when symptoms occur. An ECG is recorded when symptoms occur, and the data is transmitted to the Cardiophonics cardiac monitoring center. Upon receipt, the ECG is immediately reviewed, acted upon by nurses, and according to the enrolling physician's orders.

Atrial Fibrillation Monitoring
Each patient is provided with an exclusive Cardiophonics 1000 PMA monitor that integrates auto-triggered technologies to record asymptomatic and symptomatic episodes of Atrial Fibrillation, Tachycardia, and Bradycardia. When a symptom occurs, the monitor automatically records the event, even if the patient has not felt any symptoms. The ECG is transmitted to the Cardiophonics Center for immediate review and subsequent action plan, according to the enrolling physician's orders.

Cardiophonics Receiver
The Cardiophonics Receiver is a windows based cardiac event receiver designed for the laptop or PC platforms. The receiver provides one or two lead channel reception and provides full documentation, EKG editing, and printing to any windows printer. Designed for a central receiving center and interfaced to a relationship database (Paradox) the digital receiver is not only the only Laptop based receiver but also the only one that functions on any PBX system within the office. Export capabilities to all windows programs, EMR programs and the Cardio Viewer for full digital recording review by e-mail.

Pacemaker Monitoring
Cardiophonics offers a complete pacemaker analysis with full reports, allowing the early detection of pacemaker malfunction, decreasing the chance of sudden pacemaker malfunction or battery depletion.
